The Global CCS Institute has congratulated Japan’s Tomakomai CCS Facility on the safe and successful capture and storage of 100,000 tonnes of CO2.

The world authority on carbon capture and storage (CCS), the Global CCS Institute, has told a gathering of 26 member governments that CCS is the only way to break an unnatural carbon cycle which is producing more anthropogenic CO2 emissions than the world can adequately ameliorate.
